2024 Lewis Hatch Chile Roast
Step back into the sizzling excitement of the sixth annual Lewis Chile Roast! Hosted by Pitmaster John Lewis at Rancho Lewis and the Pacific Box & Crate courtyard, this celebration of the Hatch green chile harvest was a day to remember. Over 3,000 pounds of Hatch chiles were trucked in and roasted on-site, filling the air with the unmistakable aroma of one of New Mexico’s most beloved ingredients. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable lineup of tasting tents featuring signature dishes from Charleston’s best chefs, exclusive hatch chile products and merchandise, and a specially crafted chile-infused beer from Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.
The event was alive with energy, thanks to incredible live music headlined by Whitey Morgan and Solid Country Gold, along with family-friendly activities at the kiddie corral. Local favorites like Husk Charleston, Bessinger’s BBQ, and Truth BBQ joined the celebration, serving up culinary creations that honored the spirit of the chile roast. Proceeds from the event benefited Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor, supporting advocacy and resources for local elderly and disabled citizens.
